Community Bereavement Cafe brings people together in Droitwich

Sam Collison, May 21, 2024July 10, 2024

Worcestershire’s Health and Wellbeing Board praised a local community group bereavement cafe in Droitwich, due to expand to Evesham soon!

The St Vincent de Paul Society bereavement café is based in Droitwich, it is free of charge, and offers a monthly place for people to go for a chat with refreshments, finding support and bereavement courses.

The cafe provides a space for people to come together and support each other, having a positive impact on their wellbeing and often addressing loneliness and isolation.

The café is run by volunteers who are trained in safeguarding and bereavement support and is held on the second Tuesday of each month 10am-12noon at Rotary House. Contact: droitwichreferrals@svp.org.uk
