Kidderminster residents now have a new place to access support, build connections, and improve their wellbeing following the launch of The NEST Community Wellbeing Hub.
The official launch brought ogether community organisations, partners, volunteers and local residents to celebrate the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the town.

Based on Worcester Street and delivered by Kidderminster Foodbank, The NEST is a welcoming and accessible space where local people can find advice, activities, opportunities and support all under one roof.
The NEST builds on the strong relationships Kidderminster Foodbank has developed over more than a decade supporting local people.
While the foodbank will continue to provide essential food support, the new hub expands its offer, creating more opportunities for residents to access activities, advice and services that support long-term wellbeing.
Nina Price, manager of Kidderminster Foodbank, said: “We’re really excited to finally be launching The NEST. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us over the years, and we offer a warm welcome to people who come through the doors.
“The NEST is about so much more than what we’ve been able to offer before – it’s about building something lasting, together with our community at the heart of everything.”

The hub was developed with support from a Worcestershire County Council Public Health grant and will bring together a range of organisations and services, making it easier for people to access help, stay connected and improve their health and wellbeing.
Councillor Alan Bailes, Worcestershire County Council’s Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Health and Wellbeing said: “The launch of The NEST is a fantastic example of what can be achieved when organisations come together to support local people and strengthen communities.
“This welcoming new hub will provide access to a wide range of practical, emotional and wellbeing support, helping people get the advice and connections they need close to home. I’m delighted that we have been able to support this initiative. I wish everyone involved every success as The NEST grows and develops in the years ahead.”
Residents will be able to access a wide range of support through the hub, from wellbeing activities and community groups to practical advice and opportunities to develop new skills, volunteer and meet others.
