Work Well, Live Better. Worcestershire’s new workplace health programme

Sam Collison, October 13, 2023December 21, 2023

Worcestershire County Council is delighted to be introducing a new workplace health programme called ‘Work Well Live Better’.

The new programme has been tailored to best meet the needs of local Worcestershire businesses to improve employee health and wellbeing. There will be two main elements to the programme:

  • A Workplace Wellbeing Network that businesses can join and gain access to a wealth of health and wellbeing resources, including a resource hub, training, and an events schedule. There will also be the opportunity to network with other businesses to share learning and best practice.
  • A programme of targeted support and interventions will be offered to businesses that have been most impacted by health inequalities that meets the individual needs of the business.

The new provider for the programme, Optima UK, will be formally launching the programme in the upcoming weeks. We really want to encourage all our local businesses to join the network and collectively we can create a healthier Worcestershire workforce.
