Sam Collison, September 20, 2024September 20, 2024
Worcestershire libraries are getting prepared for emergencies this ‘Save a Life September’.

Life-saving trauma kits have been installed in libraries across Worcestershire for use in emergencies. The kits are designed to help people stop the casualty bleeding before paramedics arrive. The packs, which include trauma dressings, chest seals and tourniquets, are designed for public use.

First aid training is useful, but you don’t have to be a First Aider to use them. Anyone can access the kit in an emergency situation.

This Save a Life September, check your first aid kits are well stocked and refresh your first aid skills. Find out more at Saint John’s Ambulance 👉 https://www.sja.org.uk
