St Clement’s embrace the Daily Mile

Sam Collison, July 3, 2024July 3, 2024

St Clements CofE Primary School in Worcester recognised that children are healthier and happier when they are active. They introduced daily movement for the whole school, helping them to learn better and achieve more.

By walking the Daily Mile together, every day, children are provided with positive experiences of physical activity that can benefit their mental wellbeing, help them understand the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, and develop positive habits for a lifetime.

Find out what impact this has had at St Clements CofE Primary School, supported by the purchase of fitness watches to help children track their daily steps in their video below.

If this has inspired your school to join the Daily Mile community, you can find out more on their website: The Daily Mile | UK

Your school or college could also consider a Public Health innovation grant to support children and young people’s health and wellbeing: Public Health Innovation Grant for Educational Settings | Worcestershire County Council
