Record Turnout at Worcester City Runs

Sam Collison, September 16, 2024September 16, 2024

This year’s Worcester City Runs event was a souring success, with over 5,000 runners, an increase on last year’s numbers.

Legendary three-time London Marathon winner Paula Radcliffe MBE officially started the junior runs, Worcester 10k, and the half marathon.

Runners commented on the fantastic atmosphere and many Worcestershire residents stood on the side-lines in support.

Running can help you keep fit, reduce stress, and improve your mood. It further supports good mental wellbeing through the social benefits. It is easily accessible and inclusive, and there are many running groups across Worcestershire, whether people run with friends, or larger running clubs.
